HAPCO alumni Destini Hendricks has begun the Commercial Dance program at Pace University in New York City. The Ocoee High School graduate is excited to be a freshman and pursuing her goal of becoming a professional dancer and choreographer. HAPCO is proud to help her continue her college education with a $500 scholarship.
Destini’s goals include performing and teaching all over the country. Ultimately, she would like to own her own studio to give back the gift of dance to as many young people as possible. She is passionate about helping young dancers succeed and inspiring them to have self-confidence. She would also like to create her own women empowerment company, Unleashed, helping young women take on any challenges they set their sights to in the world.
She has won many titles including Teen Miss World Dance, Miss World Dance and Central Florida’s Got Talent. She graduated from high school with a weighted 4.2 GPA and ranked #38 in her class of over 500 students.
