Playing a variety of jazz, gospel and funk, Andrew Kennedy performs solo and with his quartet, Next Gen Jazztet. A student at Valencia, he is studying to become a Professor of Jazz so that he may teach the next generation everything he’s learned. He plays clarinet, saxophone and flute. He has worked with many musicians of all levels from student to pro, including Chris Rottmayer, Scott Wilson, Wycliffe Gordon, Lenard Rutledge, Frank Wosar and Michelle Maihot. His musical experience and dedication to music has landed him gigs at area festivals and venues including The Vineyard, The Winter Garden Jazz Fest, HAPCO Jazz Fest, University Club, Gaylord Palms and Pilars.
