Kealan Braden and Paul Van Wormer Jr. will entertain residents of The University Club with great live jazz on February 19.
Kealan is passionate about music of all styles but especially loves jazz and funk/fusion. Last year, he was selected to the Orange County All-County Jazz Band. At Olympia High School, he is both a drummer and pianist in their top jazz group as well as the bassist in their second jazz group.
Paul is a jazz studies major at the University of Central Florida. He played lead alto in the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra Jazz Band 1 under the direction of Jeff Rupert. He was first chair in the OCPS All-County Band for four years. He was on the Florida 19-20 All-State Jazz Band as well as the Tri-State Honors Jazz Band on lead tenor sax.
