Stop by for free jazz music and community fun! Join us for a special performance by students of HAPCO’s Summer Jazz Band Camp. They will be joined by lead clinicians Jeff Rupert, Yamaha Performing Artist and UCF director of jazz studies, and Scott Wilson, UF director of jazz studies as well as other clinicians and HAPCO youth advisors. Enjoy lively renditions of jazz favorites and standards by some of our area’s most talented young musicians. At the camp, from June 18-22, these Central Florida middle and high school students will learn about jazz theory and history as well as improve their skills in full ensemble rehearsals, master classes, sectionals, combos and improv.
