During the HAPCO Health free community class, Chef Courtney Lanier shared some of his ways to make holiday meals incredible with his blend of Southern comfort and international flair.

Attendees enjoyed the demo and the cooked meal for lunch. It was a fun and casual hour of community socialization and learning.

Born and raised in Sanford, Florida, Chef Courtney Lanier brings farm-to-table flavor to every dish – a tradition inspired by his Southern roots and his grandmother’s Southwest Georgia cooking. His time in the U.S. Army, serving in Germany and Panama, expanded his palate and passion for global cuisine.

Through Big Country’s Kitchen, Chef Lanier delivers an elevated country dining experience. He’s also dedicated to mentoring youth, inspiring them to make choices that shape a brighter future.
