Great to see everyone Jan 31 at the Town of Oakland Heritage Day Festival! HAPCO Board Member Russell Myers and Phoenix Perego, Sage’s Kitchen and SK Caribe, were part of the Healthy West Orange Fresh Start Zone, sharing tasty foods and info about HAPCO Health programs in Central Florida.
Chef Sage Telfort blends the rich traditions of Caribbean and international cuisines to create culinary fusions that are fresh, flavorful and full of joy. His new food truck features foods inspired by Haitian, Jamaican, Bahamian and other global influences.
Chef Sage is a long-time HAPCO Health educator in the community and at local high schools. Our clinicians emphasize familiar food cultures that are relevant and accessible to our students. They show students basic cooking techniques for budget-friendly and nutritious meals that taste great.
