KEAGAN is a 20-year-old artist hailing from Versailles, Kentucky majoring in Business Administration at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. KEAGAN got his start in music at a young age performing in an Apollo concert singing Michael Jackson’s “Ben” and it progressed from there. He later rediscovered his passion as a Sophomore in High School by starting to make beats. Later in his Junior year, he released his first song, “Keep Me” and has been progressing ever since. His music ranges from a variety of R&B and Hip-Hop to Electronic and even Alternative. His main focus is making music that stems from the heart and to take the listener on a journey through his life, alongside him through his smooth and soothing production along with his organic and genuine lyrics. He was early influenced by Gospel music in church and later expanded his music liking to old Motown, eventually leading to R&B and Soul as his main influences. Artist’s that inspire KEAGAN are the likes of Daniel Caesar, Chance The Rapper, J. Cole, and Frank Ocean along with others. His latest EP, “The Healing Process” was released in the summer of 2018 and KEAGAN is now working on releasing a longer, more rounded project as he enters the summer of 2019.
