Join HAPCO for an evening of jazz featuring the Bethune-Cookman University Jazz Band, bringing their energy, creativity and talents to Blue Bamboo in celebration of International Jazz Day.
They will showcase their individual styles and collective musicianship through lively rhythms, soulful solos and big band energy.
The Bethune-Cookman Jazz Ensembles are directed by Dr. Kedrick Redding, assistant professor of music education.
International Jazz Day, celebrated worldwide on April 30, recognizes jazz as an art form that brings people together across cultures and communities. Established by UNESCO, the annual observance highlights jazz’s role in promoting dialogue, diversity, respect and freedom of expression.
