Thomas Milovac is a bassist, composer, arranger, and improvisor based out of Jacksonville, Florida. He has roots in the jazz tradition as well as a deep passion for musical and sonic exploration. His work encompasses elements of many styles, colors, textures, instrumentations and settings.

As well as performing solo and ensemble performances, he has been the curator of the ongoing Backroom Series promoting creative music in Jacksonville.

He has led ensembles ranging from an improv orchestra to a nine-piece “small big band” as well as various duos which have performed his own arrangements and compositions and have received awards and statewide recognition for their blending of styles, creative arrangements, sonic contour, wide use of coloration, and talented playing by the featured musicians.

He is currently studying to get his B.M. in Jazz Studies at the University of North Florida. ​
