Evans High School violinists at the FSU String Orchestra Camp

Daymoir, Michaela, Debrah and Bacarri at the Florida State University College of Music’s String Orchestra camp. The Evans High School violinists expanded their talents and experienced college life in Tallahassee at the week-long camp.

HAPCO provided funding to help them attend. These scholarships were funded by Walmart Supercenter #4588, 3101 W Princeton St in Orlando.

During camp, they played in an orchestra and a chamber ensemble; they also attended sectionals and master classes. They performed in two final camp performances: a Chamber Ensembles Concert and the String Orchestra Final Performance.

All four students share a commitment to personal, creative and intellectual growth and are passionate about learning. These high schoolers have strong work ethics and are driven to achieve excellence in all facets of their lives.

Thanks to Osvaldo Quezada, Director of Orchestra at Evans High School, for helping to facilitate these scholarships.
