Micah is a classically trained singer with a degree in vocal performance from Eastern Connecticut State university. He uses his free, effortless voice as a vehicle to connect with the audience sharing the timeless stories of  the jazz standards. 

From the age of 10 Micah always wanted to exercise his creative side by writing lyrics and singing for friends and family, inspired mostly from his father who was a semi-professional opera singer. The catchy melodies of Coldplay, the story telling of Frank Sinatra, the smoothness of Micheal Buble, and raw power of Luciano Pavarotti played a big role in his artistic development. After high school and doing coffee shop performances and talent shows Micah decided he wanted to go all in. He achieved a BA in vocal performance with the help of various masterclasses and summer opera programs designed to take young artists to the next level. After college doing various performances in operas, musicals, and solo performances Micah decided that he wanted to shift gears fully into Jazz and explore building a brand online. In 1 short year Micah managed to take over the music space on instagram with the catchy and novel persona of “Micah Slidatra” amassing millions of views and reaching the rare milestone of gaining 10,000+ organic followers on his instagram that he still uses today.
