A HUGE THANK YOU to The Florida Smooth Jazz Foundation for sponsoring 10 – TEN! – students at our Summer Jazz Camp. Their support gives 10 disadvantaged student musicians in our community the ability to learn from some of the best music educators and musicians in jazz music today.
We appreciate the music education partnership with this great non-profit in Daytona Beach. Founded in 2005, it promotes and produces music events for the greater good of the community. Two annual merit scholarships are sponsored by the Foundation for music students of Eastern Florida State College and Daytona State College.
The Foundation has been involved in the promotion, production and financial support of numerous concerts throughout Florida since 2005. Follow them for details on upcoming live music including the Florida Smooth Jazz Weekend, November 5-8 in Daytona Beach.
