Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month at a free lively performance by Guillermo Hernández Barrocal. You will enjoy jazz and classical music from this up-and-coming piano prodigy from Spain.
His first album, The Romantic Piano, includes works by Liszt, Schumann and Chopin, and is a showcase of the interpretive maturity of this young artist.
He has performed at the Cap Roig Festival in Girona; the Sala Gustav Mahler in Dobbiaco, Italy; the Cultuurraad Kraainem in Brussels, Belgium; and the León Auditorium in Spain. He participated in the Prodigies contest broadcast on TVE la1 from the Miguel Delibes Auditorium in Valladolid.
He has also performed at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Music and Performing Arts of the Alfonso X el Sabio University in Madrid; the Medina Elvira de Atarfe Cultural Center; the Instituto de América Auditorium; the Caja Rural de Granada cultural classroom; and the Fundos Hall of Valladolid.
He is a student at the Katarina Gurska Higher School of Musical Education in Madrid, Spain.
