Original Highwayman R.L. Lewis created this piece especially for HAPCO Music Foundation as a fundraiser.
The original 20″x24″ painting entitled: “Music is Harmony,” is done by Original Highwaymen artist R.L. Lewis (a 2004 inductee into the Florida Artist hall of fame.)

June 7-8, 2013 – 7th Annual Triple “A” Festival
HapCO Music Foundation presents The Town of Oakland’s 7th Annual TRIPLE “A” FESTIVAL (African American Arts ) Festival. This festival in the town of Oakland encourages artistic expression among youth and celebrates the work of local artists. The festival historically honors Juneteenth, now celebrated throughout the United States with picnics and festivals. We present artistry as exhibited in those who contribute to African-American culture. The festival is organized in collaboration with Orange and Seminole Counties to increase exposure and encourage community participation in the arts.

October 19, 2013 – Kenneth R. Tolbert Annual Scholarship Golf Tournament
Stoneybrook West Golf Club
Our goal is to raise $25,000 for students to participate in Art programs in West Orange County and a portion earmarked for anyone throughout the country (Grade school up to College).

February 2014 – SUNSHINE JAZZ FESTIVAL
February 1, 2014 – Ocoee High School
During the Day: The festival has a clinic session. This component provides increased visibility and career opportunities for middle and high school students who may be interested in pursuing music in their educational endeavors. During this session, (18 ) local middle and high school jazz bands will perform for a panel of three professional jazz adjudicators.

During the Evening: The Sunshine Jazz Festival offers an evening performance featuring University of North Florida Jazz Band and the Ocoee High School Jazz Band.
