The support of our community partners allows HAPCO to help young people graduate college. Recently, we helped Gustave graduate from FAMU, with a scholarship to help pay for his last semester of school. He majored in music, was part of the FAMU band, and now, he is a college graduate.
Founded by Cathy Powers in 2005, The Florida Smooth Jazz Foundation is a non-profit that works exclusively for charitable and educational purposes, promoting and producing music events for the greater good of the community. Their work helps young people through scholarships and the work of other non-profits like HAPCO.
