Free jazz clinic for middle and high school jazz bands and individual students. At this non-competitive jazz clinic, band directors and students learn from professional clinicians who emphasize individual creativity, team spirit and real-world experience. Includes clinician critique of performances, workshops and master classes. Clinicians will cover topics including improv; the music industry business; industry careers; university-level music program options and applications; working as a professional performer; home studio; entrepreneurship; and music theory.

Open to middle and high school jazz students. Individual students can attend without their school jazz band. Lunch provided.
